Earth Hour 2017 in Hong Kong is about promoting the development of renewable energy and a sustainable living style.

Hong Kong has been celebrating Earth Hour since 2009 with the support of thousands of companies and schools. Every year, countless landmarks and iconic buildings go dark across the renowned Victoria Harbor skyline. The spirit of Earth Hour is not only about switching the lights off, it’s about encouraging and influencing people to make some changes for a sustainable future. This spirit correlates with the vision of WWF-Hong Kong, which is to transform Hong Kong into a truly sustainable city.

For Earth Hour 2017, WWF-Hong Kong is seeking to raise awareness about how we contribute to climate change and how we can be part of the solution by supporting renewable energy development. Starting from today, let’s take action to build a future in which people live in harmony with our planet!
