Building on last year’s success, France will continue the "Earth Hour Paris" campaign, where people can use their social media channels to turn off a light bulb on the Eiffel Tower.

In addition, the team is running a ‘Cafe Panda’ challenge where students from 22 schools will be asked to identify a particular climate issue and come up with concrete actions such as a recycling program or a clean up day. Students will then use social media to promote these actions and the students with the most popular ideas will be declared winners during Earth Hour.
