Co-ordinating this global effort is a small team based in Sydney, the birthplace of Earth Hour. Headed by Co-Founder Andy Ridley, we work closely to support teams around the world and take the Earth Hour message to new countries.

Sid joined Earth Hour, from Google, in 2009 and looks after the mobile platforms and data analysis. In addition to playing the role of 'Mr Fixit', he is also an amateur photographer who goes by the name Sidpicky.

As the CEO and of Earth Hour, Andy has guided a “lights out” campaign into the biggest grass-roots environmental movement on the planet. From 2012 and beyond, Earth Hour is harnessing the new digital frontier by using social technology to connect humanity to save the planet. Andy says Earth Hour is owned by its participants, from a six-year-old in a class room to a political leader fighting for a clean energy future. For the first time in history, it is possible for people from all over the world to connect and unite behind a common cause.

Ben joined the team after completing an internship with Earth Hour in 2011. He has recently relocated to Singapore to develop the strategy for Earth Hour's global digital communities, managing its social media presence across multiple platforms.
