Adelaide is powering down in support of Earth Hour 2008. Adelaide Town Hall, Adelaide Central Markets, Victoria Square Fountain, The Advertiser Building, Westpac Building, South Australian Brewery and Hilton Adelaide are eager members of the world’s icons that have headed the call to switch off for an hour. In Adelaide – dark is the new black.

Adelaide knows that the fight against Global Warming is best addressed via the stomach! People are flocking to Chiani Classico, everyone’s favourite Hutt Street restaurant, and enjoying a dinner of wonderful cuisine and candle-lit ambiance. Others are enjoying homemade food – Amande, a solar powered Bed and Breakfast is hosting a cooking school by candle light. The Gourmet Blokes are whipping up delicious Greek food for people who want to both participate in the fight against global warming and learn about international cuisine.
